Initially focused on masonry, Nello Construction transitioned to general construction in the 1970s. Throughout its history, the company has completed over $1 billion in projects in the Pittsburgh area, from modest $5,000 jobs to extensive $100 million ventures. After the challenges brought by COVID-19, the Torriero family shifted operations to Florida, creating Nello Build to meet the need for a lean, efficient construction firm. Now part of the Nello Group of Companies, Nello Build specializes in construction management, development, general construction, home watch, and Design Build services for both residential and commercial projects.

Gino Torriero has over 25 years of construction experience at Nello and his wife is a registered architect that has designed many office, commercial and residential projects, two of the homes won Pittsburgh Home of the Year, an she has designed millions of dollars of residential projects here in Naples.
